| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je představit Alexandera von Humboldta, jeho práci a pohled na přírodu. Autorka se snaží demonstrovat jeho chápání přírody jakožto složité entity se spletitou sítí vztahů mezi organismy. Zároveň usiluje o to, zhodnotit Humboldtův význam v dějinách geografie jako moderní vědy. Autorka usiluje o to, přiblížit osobnost Alexandra von Humboldta, jeho vědecké názory a rozsáhlý vliv na okolí. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present Alexander von Humboldt, his work and view of nature. The author of thesis tries to demonstrate Humboldt's understanding of nature as a complex entity with an intricate network of relationships between organisms. At the same time, it seeks to evaluate Humboldt's significance in the history of geography as a modern science. The author tries to present the personality of Alexander von Humboldt, his scientific views and extensive influence on his surroundings. |
