| Abstract: | Zánikem Západořímské říše došlo ke konci vyspělého období lidských dějin, kterému jsme zvyklí říkat starověk. Velké civilizace, jejichž vyspělost stále objevujeme, se vepsaly do římského světa, který byl součástí a vyvrcholením civilizační kulturní úrovně své doby. Zanikla fascinující epocha… Zkoumat důvody konce vždy vyvolávají zásadní otázky. V následujícím textu jsou představeny základní objektivní důvody konce impéria, jako jsou zejména nájezdy barbarských kmenů, tedy vnější intervence a provazba k vnitřním antagonismům. Právě tyto zásadně přispěly ke konci Říma, který opustil hodnotovou bázi, na jejím základě byl budován. |
| Abstract in different language: | The demise of the Western Roman Empire marked the end of the advanced period of human history that we are used to calling antiquity. Great civilizations, whose maturity we are still discovering, were inscribed in the Roman world, which was a part and the culmination of the civilizational cultural level of its time. A fascinating era has passed away... Investigating the reasons for the end always raises fundamental questions. In the following text, the basic objective reasons for the end of the empire are presented, such as the raids of barbarian tribes, i.e. external intervention and the link to internal antagonisms. It was these that fundamentally contributed to the end of Rome, which abandoned the value base on which it was built. |
