| Abstract: | Výsledkem mé bakalářské práce je autorská kniha nesoucí název ABCs of art. Jedná se o přehled anglické abecedy zaměřený na pojmy z umění, které zároveň provází přes časové osy v dějinách umění. Ve svých ilustracích používám různorodé techniky a materiály, které se tematicky vztahují k zvoleným pojmům. Během práce jsem využila své dosavadní dovednosti, ale také jsem vyzkoušela nové způsoby tvorby. Při výrobě knihy pro mě bylo důležité ukázat i řemeslnou stránku, která by souznila i s obsahem. |
| Abstract in different language: | The result of my bachelor's thesis is an original book titled "ABCs of Art". It is an overview of the English alphabet focused on terms from the field of art, presented within the context of art history timelines. The illustrations in the book incorporate diverse techniques and materials that relate thematically to the selected terms. During the creation process, I utilized my existing skills while also experimenting with new methods of artistry. For me, it was important to showcase the craft aspect of bookmaking that would harmonize with the book's content. |
