Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá dynamickými vlastnostmi modelů systémů chemických reakcí. |
Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with dynamical properties of models of chemical reaction systems. We introduce different types of chemical reactions from the point of view of reaction kinetics, and the basic notation used in this thesis and then the derivation of differential equations describing changes of molar concentrations of substances in time. We then describe basic properties of these dynamical systems and introduce stoichiometric compatibility classes in which all trajectories of a given dynamical system lie. For reactions of two substances, these classes give us a very accurate idea of the qualitative behavior of trajectories. We then focus on the role of parameters present in systems of reactions of two substances for which we may encounter examples of interesting bifurcations, although there is only limited nonoscillatory behavior. In particular, we will mention systems with the saddle-node bifurcation and hysteresis, with the pitchfork bifurcation and two-parameter cusp bifurcation. |
