| Abstract: | Hlavní cíl této práce je popsat technologii webových služeb a ukázat jejich praktické použití. Tato práce popisuje tři základní části webových služeb - SOAP, WSDL, UDDI. Vysvětleno je základní použití XML ve webových službách. Jako praktická ukázka použití webových služeb byla implementována jednoduchá klientská aplikace, která využívá webové služby IS/STAG. Tato aplikace dokáže kontrolovat plně obsazený zkouškový termín a informovat uživatele, pokud se uvolní místo. Upozornění je posíláno e-mailem. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main goal of this thesis is to describe technology of Web Services and demonstrate their practical usage. This text is focused on three main parts of Web Services - SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and also provides an overview how XML is used in Web Services. As a practical example of Web Services usage a simple client side application of IS/STAG Web Services was implemented. This application can check full-occupied examination term and alert user when there occure an empty seat at the exam. Alert is sent via email. |
