The second target of the dissertation was to compare Kierkegaard's ideas with the concept of Friedrich Nietzsche, who is considered as one of the most important figure of existentialism. The intention was to draw attention to the need for self-knowledge, which Kierkegaard regarded as the fundamental condition of human existence.en
