| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se bude zabývat Smlouvou o vzájemné pomoci, jejíž opravený návrh byl předložen v září 1923 Shromáždění Společnosti národů a jejímiž autory byli Robert Cecil a Edouard Réquin. Smyslem návrhu bylo stanovit plán odzbrojení, jejž by vypracovala Rada Společnosti národů; stejný orgán by podle smlouvy rovněž určoval agresora, stanovoval případné sankce proti němu a organizoval popřípadě i vojenské operace. Studentka se zaměří na recepci diplomatických dokumentů Společnosti národů a diplomatických zpráv československého vyslanectví v Londýně. Na úvod zmíní specifický vztah Velké Británie a Francie k fenoménu kolektivní bezpečnosti po skončení první světové války. Poté představí obsah samotného dokumentu. Jádro práce bude tvořit analýza dokumentů zaznamenávajících proměnu názorů britské konzervativní i labouristické vlády a francouzské vlády k návrhům Smlouvy o vzájemné pomoci. |
| Abstract in different language: | The Diploma Thesis will deal with the Treaty of Mutual Assistance that was presented during the Fourth Assembly of the League of Nations in September 1923. The draft Treaty was created by Lord Robert Cecil and French colonel Edouard Réquin, the delegates on the League of Nations. The Treaty of Mutual Assistance handled with disarmament and mutual assistance of high contracting parties. Supervising the limits of armament of each state was entrust to the Council of the League of Nations, according to the Treaty the Council also defined the aggressor, the Council specified the sanctions towards to aggressor and coordinated military forces to protect the victim. The Thesis will be focused on reception of diplomatic documents of the League of Nations and diplomatic reports of the Czechoslovak embassy in London. The introduction of the Thesis will deal with relation between Great Britain and France on the background of the phenomenon of collective security and disarmament in general. Then the content of the Treaty of Mutual Assistance will be describe. The pith of the Thesis will lay on the analyze of the documents that have recorded the changes of attitudes of London and Paris. |
