| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá historií izraelských výsadkových jednotek, zejména založením elitní jednotky nazvané Sajeret Matkal. Ve své druhé části se práce zabývá nejznámější záchranou operací Sajeret Matkal, jež se stala na letišti v Entebbe v Ugandě v roce 1976. V závěru práce sleduje, jak se Izraelské obranné síly a celý stát Izrael změnily po operaci v Entebbe. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the history of Israeli paratroopers, especially on the foundation of special unit in the Israeli Defence Forces called Sayeret Matkal. In the second part the thesis concentrates on the Sayeret Matkal's most famous rescue operation, which took place in Entebbe Airport, Uganda in 1976. In the end of the thesis follows the way how the Israeli Defence Forces and the whole State of Israel had changed after the operation at Entebbe. |
