| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na stereotypní zobrazování žen v médiích. Konkrétně jde o zobrazení ideálu ženské krásy. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojem stereotyp, geneze a gender. Zaměřuje se i na stereotypy v médiích, genderové stereotypy a na vztah médií a genderu. Zmíněn je i vývoj a proměny ideálu ženské krásy. Metodologická část je zaměřena na zobrazování ideálu ženské krásy v časopise Vlasta v letech 2000 až 2012. Použitou metodou je kvalitativní obsahová analýza. Cílem práce je postihnout témata, která jsou nejčastěji zmiňována v uvedeném časopise a období. |
| Abstract in different language: | This diploma thesis is focused on the stereotypical view of women in the media. Specifically the ideal of beauty. The theoretical part explain the concept of stereotype, genesis and gender. It focuses on media stereotypes, gender stereotypes and the relationship between media and gender. Described is the development of the ideal of feminine beauty. The methodological part is trying to capture the view of ideal beauty in the journal Vlasta in the year 2000 - 2012. Applied method is qualitative content analysis. The main aim is to capture the themes that are frequently mentioned in the said journal and period. |
