| Abstract: | Tématem i názvem mé diplomové práce je "Soukromý rituál". Pod tímto zadáním si představuji něco, co dotyčnou osobu v soukromém životě provází velice často. Tak často, že si to vlastně ani nemusí uvědomovat. Já jsem svou závěrečnou práci pojal tak, že bych v ní chtěl propojit svou oblíbenou zálibu a materiál a to je příroda a porcelán. Cílem mé práce bylo vytvořit set pro chov motýlů do Botanické zahrady hl. města Prahy. Tato botanická zahrada do svých interiérů každý rok vypouští stovky motýlů z celého světa. Motýli, kteří pijí nektar, se řídí při hledání potravy zejména zrakem, čichem až druhotně.Proto jsem se rozhodl vyrobit barevná, porcelánová pítka, která jsou inspirována přímo květy rostlin. Zcela rozdílné chování mají motýli, kteří upřednostňují krmítka. Tato skupina se řídí hlavně čichem a zrak je až na druhém místě. Na krmítku jsem se snažil ukázat působení "lidské složky" v přírodě. Proto jsem se nijak nesnažil krmítko skrýt, ale naopak chtěl jsem, aby bylo už zdálky nápadné a bylo vidět. Proto jsem zvolil geometrický tvar krmítka, |
| Abstract in different language: | The theme and title of this diploma thesis is "Private ritual". This theme encapsulates something that a person does frequently in their private life. So frequently, in fact, that the person wouldn't even have to think about it. For my final piece I involved something I am not only fond of, but a material that I am fond of working with - and that is nature and porcelain. The aim of my work was to create a habitat for the care of butterflies in the Botanical Gardens of the capital city Prague. This botanical garden in Prague releases hundreds of butterflies into its interior from all over the world. Butterflies drink nectar, and search for their food primarily by sight, only secondarily by smell. I chose to create some water feeders which were inspired by flowers, using the medium of porcelain. Butterflies that prefer the feeders that contain rotting fruit have different behaviours from the others. This group searches for food primarily by their sense of smell, and sight is the secondary sense. In the feeders, I tried to show the "human element" in nature. For this purpose, I did not attempt to hide the feeders but instead showed them to be obvious - that they were there to be seen. That is why I chose a geometric shape for the feeder. |
