Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the engagement of the United States of America in the Syrian Civil War between the years 2011 and 2016. The work discusses the theoretical framework of great power as a term of international relations that is later applied to the example of US involvement in the Syrian conflict. This involvement is subjected to the analysis that results in the evaluation of US foreign policy goals and steps and their consequences on conflict development in Syria itself. |
