| Abstract: | Cílem mé bakalářské práce je, na základě širších souvislostí americké angažovanosti v Iráku, důkladné zpracování problematiky působení PMC v zemi, konkrétně firmy Blackwater USA (dnes ACADEMI), a to s ohledem na poválečné uspořádání Iráku a bezpečnostní situaci v zemi. V práci se věnuji jak stručnému nástinu její agendy, tak vztahu k místním obyvatelům, stejně jako kontroverzním událostem, jež výrazně ovlivnily vztahy Iráčanů k USA a západnímu světu jako takovému. |
| Abstract in different language: | This Bachelor thesis titled ? The Role of PMCs in Iraq and Consequences of Their Activities for US-Iraqi Relations? deals with the description of the development of Iraq in the period after the overthrow of Saddam Husein, during which US increased hiring of private military companies to improve and streighten theirs positions in Iraq. PMCs in Iraq became responsible for several incidents, which have affected mainly on local residents and theirs opinion about the entire Western Word. |
