Abstract: Rigorózní práce se věnuje problematice ochranné známky Evropské unie. Zabývá se právní úpravou ochranné známky Evropské unie, jejím postavením v rámci práva průmyslového vlastnictví a jednotlivými druhy ochranných známek. Dále se práce věnuje registraci ochranné známky Evropské unie včetně řízení o zápisu ochranné známky a námitkovému řízení, důvodům zániku ochranné známky a problematice ochrany proti zásahu do práv vlastníka ochranné známky.
Abstract in different language: This rigorous thesis deals with various aspects of the European Union trade mark. It focuses on the legislation providing for the European Union trade mark, the position of the European Union trade mark in the system of industrial property rights and the specific types of trade marks. The thesis further deals with the issue of registration of European Union trade marks, including registration and opposition proceedings, ground for termination of a trade mark and the issue of protection against infringement of the rights of the trade mark proprietor.
