| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáním dopadů hospodářské krize ve 30. letech a současném ekonomickém propadu během pandemie COVID-19 v roce 2020. Na začátku práce jsou definovány základní pojmy související s hospodářskou krizí a zasazení Velké hospodářské krize do historického kontextu s důrazem na její průběh v Československu. Následuje stručná historie Škodových závodů a zpracování důsledků, které Velká hospodářská krize 30. let na podnik Škodovy závody měla. Následně je v práci popsán současný ekonomický propad během pandemie COVID-19 s důrazem na ekonomický vývoj České republiky. Oba ekonomické propady jsou poté porovnány na základě vybraných charakteristik a aplikovány na podnik Škodovy závody a jeho současnou podobu: ŠKODA Transportation a.s. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the 1930's economic crisis' consequences and the current economic downfall during the COVID-19 pandemic in the year 2020. To begin with, there are definitions of essential terms related to an economic crisis and The Great Depression is put into perspective within a historical context, focusing on its development in Czechoslovakia. Then there is a short history of Škoda Works, followed by an analysis of consequences that The Great Depression had on Škoda Works in the 1930's. Afterwards, the current economic downfall caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is described, focusing on the economic development in the Czech Republic. Both slumps are then compared on the basis of selected characteristics and are applied to the Škoda Works company and its modern form, ŠKODA Transportation. |
