| Abstract: | Finální práce je 36 stránkový komiks, vypracovaný digitálně v grafickém provedení s růžovým gradientem. Mým cílem bylo nakreslit hororový komiks s originálními monstry a myslím si, že to se mi vydařilo. Výsledním dílem je autorský komiks zhotovený ve třech exemplářích formatu 205 x 280mm. Myslím, že můj komiks mohl oslovit zájemce o hororový žánr. Příběh je o mladé dívce jménem Anna, která má potíže se spánkem a závazky, a přinese si domů zvláštní druh pokojové květiny. Ta znepokojivě mění chování jejího psa, až se jednoho rána před jejíma očima přetvoří v podivnou zrůdu a opravdové potíže teprve nastávají. |
| Abstract in different language: | My bachelor thesis is an original comic book in the horror genre. The story is about an invisible threat that we can bring accidentally home, inspired by a pandemic situation that comics created. The story begins in a forest and follows a concerned-looking young woman. She falls, screams, and an invisible force dragged her away. Then the reader finds themself in a bedroom and sees the main character Anna awake next to her partner, visibly distant. When she leaves his apartment, she finds a mesmerizing house plant that someone must have thrown away. Without a second thought, she takes it home. Without knowing, by that simple action, she activates a chain of horrific events that would strip her of everything she loves. But despite how horrific things would turn out, she would find an alley, and most importantly, she would learn that she can act quickly and bravely. I think my comic book would pick interest in horror genre lovers with its original creature design. |
