| Abstract: | Téma mé bakalářské práce se týká významné osobnosti českých dějin, svatého Jana Nepomuckého. Okrajově popisuje jeho dětství, studia a pracovní život vedoucí až k jeho mučednické smrti. Dále líčí vznik legendy spojený s nálezem a pohřbením světcova těla. Následně šíření této legendy staletími a vyústění v Janovo blahořečení a následné svatořečení. Věnuje se příkladům šíření svatojánského kultu v Nepomuku, Plzeňském kraji a Čechách (výstavbě kostelů dedikovaných sv. Janu, soch a obrazů se svatojánskou tématikou a relikviářů se světcovými ostatky). Práce se dále věnuje vzniku založení Svatojánského muzea v Nepomuku a spolku Matice svatého Jana Nepomuckého. Na závěr popisuje průběh oslav uskutečněných k třístému výročí blahořečení Jana Nepomuckého v jeho rodišti, v Čechách a okrajově v USA a Brazílii. Zmíněna je i spolupráce českého a brazilského Nepomuku. |
| Abstract in different language: | The topic of my bachelor thesis is related to important personality of the Czech history, St. John of Nepomuk. It marginally describes his childhood, studies and working life, wich lead him up to his martyrdom. It also describes the origin of legends associated with the discovery and burial of the saint's body. Than it describes the spreading of the legends through the centuries and the result of John's beatification and canonization. It showes the examples of the spreading of the cult in Nepomuk, the Pilsen region and Bohemia (building of churches dedicated to St. John, statues, paintings and reliquaries with saints' remains). The work continues with a description of the establishment of the St. John's Museum in Nepomuk and the association Matice of Saint John. In conclusion, it describes the celebrations held on the 300th anniversary of the beatification of Saint John in his hometown and in the Czech Republic, marginally in the USA and Brazil, and also the cooperation between Czech and Brazilian Nepomuk. |
