| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat a interpretovat stoickou kosmologickou koncepci a její fyzikální a metafyzické předpoklady. Pozornost je věnována zejména pojetí aktivního a pasivního principu, živlové teorii, Chrýsippovu pojmu pneumatu, vztahu mezi principy a živly, problematice tělesnosti a otázce času, prostoru, prázdna a výpovědí. V části o kosmologii jsou tyto předpoklady vztaženy na otázku kosmu. Zahrnuta jsou témata uspořádání kosmu, nebeských těles, kosmických cyklů a stoického pojetí vzplanutí (ekpyrósis) a biologizující chápání kosmu jako oduševnělého racionálního tvora. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze and intepret the cosmological concepttion of the Stoics and its physical and metaphysical preconditions. The thesis covers topics such as the notion of active and passive principles, elemental theory, the notion of pneuma introduced by Chrysippus, relation between principles and elements, the problem of corporeality and the questions of time, space, void and saayables. In the part of the thesis dealing with cosmology, these preconditions are applied to the notion of cosmos. This part includes topics such as the arrangement of cosmos, celestial bodies, cosmic cycles and the Stoic notion of conflagration (ecpyrosis) and a biologizing conception of the cosmos as an ensouled and rational being. |
