| Abstract: | Udržitelný rozvoj hraje významnou roli při dosahování vysoké životní úrovně a kvality života všech lidí. Výzkum udržitelného rozvoje poskytuje informace osobám, které mají rozhodovací pravomoci, aby mohli správně stanovit priority a iniciovat tak opatření, která mají za cíl chránit životní prostředí. Hlavním cílem práce bylo identifikovat a porovnat objektivní nástroje měřící udržitelný rozvoj, které se používají na makroregionální úrovni. K dosažení tohoto cíle byla provedena kvalitativní analýza, která současně posloužila jako podklad pro následnou kvantitativní analýzu. Pomocí tematické analýzy bylo identifikováno 27 nástrojů měřících udržitelný rozvoj. Mezi nejčastěji se opakující indikátory patřily HDI, GS, ukazatel ekologické stopy, HPI, a SSI. Záměrem kvantitativní analýzy bylo porovnat výsledky vybraných indikátorů v rámci zemí EU. Jednotlivé indikátory byly vybrány na základě literární rešerše, výstupu tematické analýzy a dostupnosti jejich dat. Pomocí Spearmanova koeficientu pořadové korelace byl zkoumán vztah mezi výsledky indikátorů HDI, HDP na obyvatele, HPI, EPI a DESI. Velmi silná korelace byla prokázána mezi výsledky ukazatele HDP a HDI, HDP a EPI a EPI a DESI. V případě porovnání výsledků HDI a HPI se jednalo o střední korelaci a při analýze výsledků HPI a DESI byla prokázána slabá korelace. |
| Abstract in different language: | Sustainable development plays a vital role in achieving high living standards and everybody's life quality. The research of sustainable development provides the people, who are in the position to make decisions, with information to set the right priorities and accordingly initiate the measures to protect the environment. The main goal was to identify and compare the objective tools measuring the sustainable development and that are being used on the macro-regional level. In order to reach this goal, a thematic analysis has been performed that has also served as a basis for the following quantitative analysis. 27 tools measuring suistainable development have been identified thanks to the thematic analysis. The indicators that have repeated most often include HDI, GS, the ecological footprint indicator, HPI and SSI. The intention of the quantitative analysis was to compare the results of the chosen indicators within the EU countries. Individual indicators have been chosen on the basis of literary research, the output of the thematic analysis and the availability of its data. The relations between the results of HDI, HDP, HPI, EPI and DESI have been examined by using the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. A very strong correlation was proved between the results of the HDP and HDI indicators as well as HDP and EPI and between EPI and DESI. In the case of comparing the results of HDI and HPI, it was a medium correlation and a weak correlation was demonstrated in the analysis of HPI and DESI results. |
