Z těchto projektů jsou identifikovány výhody a nevýhody využití XR v této oblasti, možné typy VR meetingů a k nim přiřazeny vhodné aplikace. |
Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with a detailed description of digitalization, Industry 4.0, and the history of XR technology, from its origins to the concept of Metaverse. The technologies belonging to XR, which are VR, AR, and MR, are listed. Besides, other elements such as eye-tracking and haptics are also explained in the thesis. Following this, the areas of education, industry, healthcare, construction, military, collaboration and communication are selected where XR technology can be implemented and bring some benefits. The practical part introduces Immersive Technologies and their scenarios of using XR in business. Subsequently, XR projects in Communication and Collaboration for Kofola and Educallix are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of using XR in this area are identified from these projects, possible types of VR meetings, and suitable applications are matched to them. Subsequently, these applications are detailed according to the established criteria, which can be compared in a table. Subsequently, sample projects in this area are calculated and the economic return on hosting a virtual conference compared to a traditional one in the real world is illustrated. According to all the information described above, 6 areas for improvement for future XR projects in this area were then recommended to the company. |
