| Abstract: | Diplomová práce zkoumá možnosti omezení náboženské svobody v souvislosti s muslimským zahalováním žen. V první části se práce zabývá vymezením pojmů náboženská svoboda, náboženský symbol a náboženství jako takové. Následuje část zaměřená na problematiku zahalování na veřejnosti, kde dochází k představení islámského náboženství, tradice zahalování, způsobů zahalování a konečně ke zkoumání důvodů vedoucích k zahalování. Třetí kapitola s pomocí judikatury ESLP rozebírá možná omezení náboženské svobody ze strany států a nakonec zkoumá zákony zakazující zahalování na veřejnosti v různých zemích. |
| Abstract in different language: | The diploma thesis examines the possibilities of restrictions on religious freedom in connection with the Muslim veiling of women. In the first part, the thesis deals with the definition of the concepts of religious freedom, religious symbol and religion as such. The following part focuses on the issue of veiling in public, where the Islamic religion, the tradition of veiling, the methods of veiling and finally the study of the reasons leading to veiling are introduced. The third chapter, with the help of the case law of the ECtHR, discusses possible restrictions on religious freedom by states and finally examines the laws prohibiting veiling in public in various countries. |
