| Abstract: | Práce se věnuje pojetí mezipohlavních rozdílů a vztahů v díle Charlese Darwina. Vedle Darwinovy koncepce jsou představena také díla jeho současnic, které k jeho tezím zaujímaly kritická stanoviska. Tyto autorky ve svých dílech uplatňovaly principy evoluční teorie a interpretovaly je způsoby, které byly slučitelné s feministickými postoji. Práce představuje díla Antoinette Brown Blackwell, Helen Hamilton Gardener, Charlotte Perkins Gilman a Elizy Burt Gamble. Kromě dobové kritické reflexe se práce také věnuje vlivu evoluční teorie na současná pojetí pohlaví ve vědě. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work focuses on the concept of intersexual relations in the works of Charles Darwin. Besides Darwin's concept, the thesis also introduces the writings of his contemporaries, who took critical approaches to his works. These authors interpreted the principles of evolutionary theory in a way compatible with the feminist line of thought. The work introduces the writings of Antoinette Brown Blackwell, Helen Hamilton Gardener, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and Eliza Burt Gamble. Besides contemporary critical reflections, the work also discusses the influence of evolutionary theory on today's scientific understanding of gender. |
