| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vznikem, existencí a zánikem království Hidžáz. Práce se věnuje vymezení pojmů stát a slabý stát. Hlavním cílem je zjistit důvody vzniku království Hidžáz po první světové válce a také určit příčiny zániku státu. Práce popisuje ekonomickou, politickou, společenskou situaci v Hidžázu a důležitost svatých měst islámu, která se ve státě nacházela. V práci je také zmíněn odkaz na Hidžáz v současnosti. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the origin, existence and demise of the kingdom of Hijaz. The thesis is devoted to the definition of the concepts of state and weak state. The main aim is to find out the reasons for the establishment of the Hijaz Kingdom after the First World War and also to determine the causes of the state demise. The thesis describes the economic, political, social situation in Hijaz and the importance of the holy cities of Islam that were located in the state. Reference to Hijaz in the present day is also mentioned in the thesis. |
