dc.description.abstractDisertační práce se zabývá drobnou těžbou nerostných surovin (primárně železné rudy), jejíž relikty se nacházejí v okolí zaniklých středověkých vesnic. Představuje výsledky terénního výzkumu, který proběhl ve dvou zalesněných oblastech v Čechách a zkoumal podobu, stáří a prostorové vazby mezi povrchovými těžebními areály a sídelními relikty v minulosti dokumentových zaniklých vesnic. Velká část výzkumu je rovněž zaměřena na teoretickou a metodologickou složku povrchového průzkumu v zalesněném prostředí a specificky na zkoumání těžebních areálů. Zjištěná fakta o konkrétních oblastech jsou konfrontována s myšlenkami a modely týkajícími se ekonomické základny a způsobu života středověkých vesnic.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis focuses on the study of small-scale mining (primarily iron ore), the remains of which are located in the vicinity of deserted medieval villages. It presents the results of a field survey, which was undertaken in two forested areas in Bohemia and studied the character, age and spatial relations of mining areas and the village settlement sites. A large part of the study concentrates on the theoretical and methodological aspects of surface survey in forested areas and specifically on that of surface mining remains. The data about the studied areas are confronted with our current knowledge and general models dealing with the economic background and lifeways in medieval village environment.en
