| Abstract in different language: | The article discusses the attitude toward Business Intelligence Systems by the sample of medium- sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. In more detail, the aim of the article is to determine the level of data processing in the Czech enterprises, as well as the extend of the use and the attitude towards Business Intelligence Systems and their implementation. The research was conducted in April 2022 using online questionnaire survey and the obtained data were processed using Pearson's Chi-square test. As the sample, enterprises from the Czech Republic with a number of employees in the range of 50-250 were selected and addressed, and overall 78 responses were obtained. The results revealed high level of data collection and overall employees’ satisfaction with enterprises data processing. Thus, enterprises have solid database that could be processed using Business Intelligence, however the attitude towards Business Intelligence it is mostly negative, because it is rather unknown concept. Also, the results revealed few problems, for example there is mostly insufficient data coordination on the firm level, as well as there is still a trend here to use paper documents as main data sources. At the end, the article discusses the possibilities to improve the negative attitude towards Business Intelligence, as well as the most suitable tools for those who want to make better data analysis. |
