| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá teritorii ve federální struktuře Kanady. Práce se nejdříve soustředí na historii kanadské federace, vztah federace k původním obyvatelům a fungování federace. V následujících kapitolách je představen aktuální stav jednotlivých teritorií. Práce se zaměřuje na důvody, proč Kanada udržuje dva typy federalizovaných jednotek, tj. provincie a teritoria, a rozdíly mezi nimi. Další téma, kterým se práce zabývá, jsou možnosti a požadavky na změnu statusu teritorií a pravděpodobnost takových změn, s důrazem na jejich vztah k federální úrovni. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor's thesis deals with territories within the federal structure of Canada. It first focuses on the history of the Canadian federation, the federation's relationship with indigenous peoples, and its functioning. In the following chapters, the current status of individual territories is presented. The thesis examines the reasons why Canada maintains two types of federated units, namely provinces and territories, and the differences between them. Another topic addressed in the thesis is the possibilities and requirements for changing the status of territories and the likelihood of such changes, with an emphasis on their relationship to the federal structure. |
