| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá nálezem údajného pohanského bůžka ze Svatoboru na vrchu Svatobor u Sušice v západních Čechách na konci 18. století. Hlavní pozornost je věnována historii nálezu artefaktu, jeho popisu a možnostem jeho datování, a také důvodům tehdejší nesprávné interpretace tohoto artefaktu. Práce také popisuje příklady ve stejné době nesprávně interpretovaných podobných artefaktů, jakož i tento typ svícnů, kterými tyto artefakty ve skutečnosti byly. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work deals with the finding of an alleged Pagan God from Svatobor at the Svatobor hill near Sušice in western Bohemia in the late 18th century. The main attention is paid to the history of the finding of the artefact, to its description and to the options of its dating, and also to the reasons of the then wrong interpretation of this artefact. The work describes also examples of at the same time incorrectly interpreted similar artefacts, as well as this type of candlesticks which these artefacts actually were. |
