| Abstract: | Práce je zaměřena na aktuální atlantickou krizi a využitím neorealistických argumentů se snaží přijít na to, proč i dnes mluvíme o krizi atlantismu. Neorealisté identifikují atlantismus se vznikem Severoatlantické aliance. Hlavními neorealistickými argumenty, které nás směřují k tvrzení, že můžeme hovořit o krizi, je jednak projekce moci USA v NATO, a dále pak současný úpadek USA. Úpadek je dán vzestupem dalších mocností, jako je Čína, proto se pozornost Spojených států obrací do Asie, zájem na fungování NATO v tuto chvíli klesá. Proto můžeme mluvit o atlantické krizi, která se projevuje odlišnými pohledy členských zemí (zejména pak USA a Evropy jako celku)na řešení vybraných problémů v mezinárodním systému, jako je terorismus, situace v Libyi nebo ukrajinská krize. Právě ukrajinská krize by se ale naopak mohla stát tou, která přitáhne zájem Spojených států z Asie zpět do Evropy, atlantická krize bude odvrácena a NATO se opět stane fungující a efektivní aliancí. |
| Abstract in different language: | This work is focused on the current Atlantic crisis. It uses neorealistic arguments to figure out why we are talking about this crisis today. Neorealism see Atlanticism in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Neorealistic arguments, which lead us to claim why we can talk about the crisis, is a projection of US power in NATO, and then the current decline of the USA. This decline is due to the rise of other powers, such as China. This means that the attention of the United States turns to Asia and the US interest in the functioning of NATO at this point decreases. Therefore, we can talk about the Atlantic crisis, which is apparent in different views of NATO member countries (particularly the US and Europe as a whole) to solve selected problems in the international system, such as terrorism, the situation in Libya or Ukrainian crisis. However, the Ukrainian crisis could become one that attracts the interest of the United States from Asia back to Europe. In that case the Atlantic crisis will be averted and NATO will become efficient and effective alliances again. |
