Abstract:	V první kapitole se práce zabývá historickým vývojem správního trestání. Následně jsou vymezeny pojmy pokuta a přestupek. K pojmu pokuty patří také přestupkové řízení, kterému se podrobně věnuje třetí kapitola práce. Zbývající část je věnovaná řízení, které se v praxi k udělování pokut užívají nejčastěji a to jest blokové. Závěrem práce je rozebrána problematika udělování a vymáhání pokut.
Abstract in different language:	The first chapter of the thesis is dedicated to the historical progress of administrative punishment. Subsequently, the legal terms fine and offence are defined. The term legal fine also includes fine procedure, which is described in detail in the third chapter. The rest of the thesis focuses on procedures which are used the most, such as penalty block procedure a court-ordered fine procedure. The closing part of the thesis contains the issues of giving and collecting fines.
