| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historickým vývojem tzv. avignonského zajetí papežů, významného období v rámci katolické církve. Zaměřuje se na základní momenty vzniku avignonského papežství i život samotných papežů a celé kurie. Zároveň bude nastíněn i pozdější vývoj spojený s návratem papežů do Říma, respektive s vypuknutím tzv. velkého schizmatu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis deals with the historical development of the papal enclave of Avignon, which is the important period within the Catholic Church. It is focused on essential moments during the establishment of the Avignon Papacy, live of single popes and the whole Curia Romana. In this thesis there will be also described the later development which is connected with the return of popes into the Rome, with the eruption of the Great Schism. |
