| Abstract: | Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku etiky v účetnictví a auditu. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zjistit typické případy neetického chování v podmínkách českého účetnictví, míru jejich výskytu a jaké důvody k takovému chování vedou. Literární rešerše je zpracována za použití odborné literatury a rozebírá pojmy týkající se profesní etiky, etických kodexů, podvodného a protiprávního jednání. V první části vlastního výzkumu je využita kvantitativní metoda prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, které se zaměřuje na etiku v účetní profesi. Druhá část výzkumu je věnována metodě kvalitativního výzkumu, kde jsou realizovány expertní rozhovory s auditory. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty výsledky provedeného dotazníkového šetření a rozhovorů. |
| Abstract in different language: | The topic of this Master's Thesis is focused on the ethics in accounting and auditing professions. The main objective of the work is to investigate frequent cases of unethical behavior in the context of those areas within the Czech accounting framework, evaluate its prevalence and underlying reasons. The Literature review is conducted using academic literature, and concepts of professional ethics, ethical codes, frauds and illegal conduct are discussed. The first part of the research is based on the quantitative method of data evaluation using questionnaire survey and its main focus is on the ethics within the accounting profession. In the second part, expert interviews with auditors are conducted using the qualitative data collection. Finally, the conclusion summarizes main findings of both methods. |
