Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat problematiku zásobování vodou v Perském zálivu se zaměřením na situaci v Iráku. Konkrétně si klade za cíl popsat současné problémy, kterým irácký vodohospodářský sektor čelí, včetně stavu vodohospodářské infrastruktury a dopadů nedostatku vody na Iráčany a migraci vyvolanou s nedostatkem vody. Práce se rovněž zabývá diplomatickým napětím mezi státy, které sdílejí irácké vodní zdroje. |
Abstract in different language: | This bachelor's thesis aims to investigate the water supply issues in the Persian Gulf, with a focus on the situation in Iraq. Specifically, it aims to describe the current challenges facing Iraq's water sector, including the state of its water infrastructure and the effects of water scarcity on Iraqis, such as migration. Thesis also explores the diplomatic tensions among the states that share Iraq's water resources. |
