| Abstract: | Práce je zaměřena na rekonstrukci lokality Dúr Šarrukín. Diskutovány jsou hostorické okolnosti vzniku města. Je rekonstruována celková podoba města a jeho politického významu. V práci jsou popsány nejdůležitější budovy jako je palác, chrámy a další. Stavební projekt takového rozsahu musel mít velký vliv na obyvatele asyrského státu, potažmo i na vládce okolních zemí, jelikož symbolizoval asyrskou převahu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This paper is focused on reconstruction of the site Dur-Sharrukin. Discussed were the historical circumstances of the formation of the town. There was reconstructed the form of the locality and its political significance, too. Described were the most important buildings such as the palace, the temples and other.The construction of such huge extent has had a significant impact both on people in Assyria itself as on the rulers of the neighboring states, it symbolized the Assyrian predominance. |
