| Abstract: | Diplomová práca venujúca sa ktitickej analýze stredovekého právneho verdiktu islamského právnika Ibn Tajmíju s názvom MArdínska fatwa. Analyzuje ju z historického, islamsko-právneho pohľadu. Hľadá jej využitie a reinterpretáciu v súčasnej islamskej právnej vede a popisuje jej úlohu v novodobej históriu. Venuje sa mediálnej reflexii a kritike jej modernej reinterpretácie. |
| Abstract in different language: | This diploma thesis is paying attention to the medieval scholar´s Ibn Taymiyyas Mardin fatwa which has significance in modern days. this fatwa was abused by numerous militnant groups to justify their terrorist attacks. This thesis is exposing it´s historical and juridical context, reinterpretations in modern days and their media covering. Mardin fatwa is a juridical verdict, answer to the questions of the people of medieval city of Mardin in southern Turkey. they are asking about theirs city´s geopolitical status in islamic law and about their duties in this zone. Is it abode of peace, or abode of war? They are asking. In his answer Ibn Taymiyya is performing a perfect knowledge of his field. |
