| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se pojednává o informační grafice jako jedné z forem vizuální komunikace a jejím cílem je zevrubný popis popis náležitostí a mechanismů, díky kterým je dnes informační grafika populárním a všeobecně známým termínem. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na terminologii, metodologii a historický vývoj informační grafiky a piktogramů, dále jsou zde představeny datové vizualizace či několik tipů a pravidel ohledně ideální informační grafiky. Praktická část se zabývá informační grafikou v Plzeňském deníku, její analýzou a následnou komparací s informační grafikou amerického deníku The New York Times. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis is about information graphics as one of the form of visual communication. The main purpose of the work is a comprehensive description of the terms and mechanisms that make the information graphics today such a popular and well-known term. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The teoretical part is focused on the terminology, efficiency and history of information graphics, and there are also introduced the ususal forms of data visualizations or some tips and rules on the ideal form or look of information graphics. The practical part is about information graphics published in Plzeňský deník, their analysis and comparation with information graphics from The New York Times. |
