Abstract:	Práce poskytuje přehled politických vztahů mezi Asýrií a jejím severním sousedem Urartu během období od 13. do 7. století př.n.l. Od 13. do poloviny 9. století př.n.l. probíhalo formování státu Urartu a jeho vznik kolem poloviny 9. století př.n.l. byl částečně dílem Asyřanů. Až do zániku Asýrie na konci 7. století př.n.l. probíhaly čilé politické vztahy. Na konci práce je uveden přehled politických aparátů obou států.
Abstract in different language:	The thesis offers overview of political relations between Assyria and Urartu from the 13th to the 7th century BC. Urartu was Assyria's neighbour in the north. Their relations between the middle of the 9th century to the end of the 7th century were very active. In this period Urartu was Assyria's political rival and they competed together.
