| Abstract: | Téma mé diplomové práce je "NEOČEKÁVANÉ...", vytvořila jsem sérii objektů - porcelánových talířů, které podlehly zkáze leptání. Porcelán se leptá kyselinami, což znamená že jde o agreivní akt, který předměty destruje. Vé své práci se zabývám myšlenkou zdali lze destukcí dekorovat? Práce se jmenuje Přítomnost absence, protože je vizuálně i hapticky zřejmé, že něco chybí. Odkazuji se na díla estetiků a filozofů, kteří mizení, čas a bytí zpracovávali. Technika leptu byla použita jiným - neočekávaným způsobem, proto se mohly talíře vymanit ze své primárně užitkové funkce a stát se objektem volného umění. Destabilizací původní formy, rozkladem, rozpadem a mizením původních dekorací jde o zachycení prchavosti okamžiku. Sada talířů funguje jako celek, kde má ale každý talíř vlastní příběh a je solitérem. |
| Abstract in different language: | The theme of my thesis is "UNEXPECTED" and I have created a series of objects porcelain plates, which have been perished by etching. Porcelain can only be etched by acids. This method is very aggressive and leads to destruction of the exposed objects. In this work I deal with the question whether it is possible to decorate using destruction? The title of my theses is Přítomnost absence (The presence of absence), since it is evident, both visually and tactilely, that something is missing. My references are the work of Paul Virilio and of other philosophers and aestheticians, who dealt with the the subject of disappearance, time and existence. The technique of etching was applied in a different, "unexpected" way and therefore, the plates have lost their primary, utilitarian function and become objects of art themselves. Destabilization of the original form, degradation, disintegration and disappearance of the authentic decoration all reflect the fleetingness of time. The plates make up a whole, while each of them works as a solitaire and a piece with its own story. |
